- Cut the seed into thin slice this is the first step for sprouting. Keep it inside the damp cloth and then at some dark place for 4 weeks. Look into it regularly and check if any mold is there. Probably on the 2nd – 3rd week you can see roots have started to come out. Once root is there transfer the plant into the pot.
- Other way out is insertion of some toothpicks around the seed sides which lets the air or water to penetrate successfully. Keep it in the glass of water with its one part totally in water. Make sure that the level covers ¼ of seed part. Make sure there is no direct sunlight facing the seed. Keep on replacing water to avoid any breeding of insects. After this root will come out.
Once you are done with this you can transfer the avocado seed into the pot where it needs proper care. It requires good amount of water so keep that in mind. Don’t keep in direct sunlight. Once the plant grows well transfer it to the ground where there is soft or moist soil. Make sure that the tree grows regularly and keep watch on it.
